| Congratulations to Kyle Conkle and Slade Smith for being selected to the Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State team. Conkle was selected as a first team Designated Hitter and Smith was a first team Pitcher. That is a great honor for both and is much deserved following great seasons. Keep up the good work.

| Congratulations to the Wildcat Baseball Team as they have been selected as the 10th best team in the state of Alabama for the 2008 season in the final baseball poll with a 20-9 won-loss record.
